Pure Aqua, Inc. designs and manufactures water treatment systems in addition to ultrafiltration units (UF). In September 2009, Pure Aqua successfully designed and manufactured 325 Ultrafiltration units (UF) to provide potable water for small villages in Iraq. The UF units were fed from local rivers since they were high in organics and suspended solids. The major components consisted of a Y strainer, sediment filter, media filter, ultrafiltration, and UV sterilization.
